All of the following facilities provide karting opportunities to adults as well as children, with most of them also offering two-seater karts. If a day out with the family is what you’re planning, you won’t be disappointed with any of these go-karting facilities in Arkansas.

1. Jonesboro Karting Complex

Facility

The Jonesboro Karting Complex is located in Bono, Arkansas and is a place that is designed for one thing – outdoor karting. It features an oval track which is perfect for some high-adrenaline, high-speed racing. The facility is a member of the Mid-American Racing Syndicate. It also participates in this institute’s Racing Point Series. 

The facility also houses a parts store that is operated by EFR Karting and is located next to the track. In the future, they will also plan to have RV hookups to provide some additional services. 

Race Track

The track at Jonesboro Karting Complex is an outdoor one. The surface is clay, providing racers the experience of racing on an oval dirt track. This is a 1/8 mile oval track with banked edges to allow for some high-speed racing and overtaking action. The track also features a timing system and a lap counter for its racers.

In the near future, the facility will add a separate 6/10 mile racetrack as well as a storage facility. These are for longer racers and will add another reason to visit this complex if you are in the area. 

Go-Karts

As with most other oval kart race tracks, Jonesboro Karting Complex requires racers to bring their own oval karts. There are different racing classes, so it’s important to check the driver and kart classification before deciding to race here.

Food & Beverage

This complex is for karting through and through and does not offer any other facilities. Unfortunately, this means that there is no restaurant or cafe on the premises. However, since it’s an outdoor track, you can easily pack some snacks or even a full picnic for the family.

2. Funtrackers Family Fun Park

Facility

For a full day of fun activities, visit the FunTrackers Family Park in Arkansas. It has an outdoor go-kart track that is designed to give you an exhilarating racing experience. Other than this track, the facility features various other attractions. These include arcade games, bumper boats, and even miniature golf. You can also have a go at some laser tag! 

The park is a great place to visit if you have a birthday party to plan. Birthday parties include game cards, activity passes, drinks, and table setups. You can have similar setups for a number of other events too! 

Race Track

The track at FunTrackers Family Park is outdoors. This is a track designed to challenge the racers with its twists and turns. The surface is slick and polished, allowing experienced racers to drift on it. The width of the track is very generous, creating easy overtaking opportunities. There’s also a safety barrier on each side of the race track.

Go-Karts

The facility features high-speed karts that are claimed to be the fastest in the area. There are single as well as double-seat karts so that the whole family can have fun. Younger drivers can drive single karts if they are at least 54” in height. The two-seater karts are designed for an adult and one child, providing a way for you to have a racing experience alongside your young ones. 

The karts have seat belts for added safety. The tires are slick to allow for some drifting action if you’re into it. All in all, these are some very good karts that are sure to get your adrenaline pumping. 

Food & Beverage

Unfortunately, food and drink options seem to be missing from the everyday activities. However, there are restaurants along Albert Pike Road, such as Dominos Pizza amongst several others where you can enjoy a nice meal after kart racing.

3. Lokomotion Family Fun Park

Facility

If you’re looking for a place where you and the whole family can spend a whole day filled with activities, then check out the Lokomotion Family Fun Park. It features exciting go-kart tracks, both for adults and children, as well as much more like bumper boats, miniature golf, laser tag, bumper cars, and an arcade. 

You can also arrange parties and events at the premises. There are multiple ‘party packs’ that you can choose from, depending on what you are looking for. You can also rent a party room if you’re looking to host a more personal event.

Race Track

The facility has two tracks, one is the Pro Track that is designed for drivers who are at least 58” tall and have a valid driver’s license. The other one is a track designed for younger children and families. On this track, drivers who are 36” tall can drive the junior karts or an adult can drive with a child in a two-seater kart.

Both tracks are full of turns that are challenging and fun at the same time. They are also wide enough so that drivers can overtake each other to reach the checkered flag first. 

Go-Karts

The go-karts at the facility are high-quality and designed for various purposes. There are single-seat karts that can be driven on the Pro Track, junior karts for the children, and two-seater karts for one adult and one child. Other than karting, you can spend your time playing miniature golf, bowling, taking a zip line, playing laser tag, and more. 

The facility also allows planning events like birthday parties. There are various packages to choose from, and each of them comes with a round of mini-golf. 

Race Track

There is one go-kart track at T-Rex Fun Spot. It is an outdoor concrete track that will give you the feeling of driving out on the streets. The track is wide so that you can overtake the other drivers without having to face any difficulties. It also has some elevations to make the experience more challenging. The various twists and turns are sure to keep your driving experience exciting and fun at all times.

There are no food or drink options available at the T-Rex Fun Spot. The facility allows you to bring your own food and drinks for your events. However, there are many restaurants located close by, so you can simply hop over for a quick meal after a round of go-kart racing.

5. Big Rock Mini Golf & Fun Park

Facility

Yet another facility that offers many different activities for the family, Big Rock Fun Park is a great place to visit for an exciting day. It’s a large fun park that spans across 7.5 acres with plenty of attractions for the entire family and is open 7 days a week! The go-kart track here is perfect for everyone, from children to adults, as it is safe for those who like to drive slow and exhilarating for those who want to race. 

Other than karting, you can take part in many other activities like miniature golf, arcade games, a batting cage, and laser tag, among others. You can also rent out the party house for your events like birthdays. 

Race Track

The track at Big Rock Fun Park may not be one that gives you competitive racing vibes, but it sure is a fun one to race on. It has a smooth surface that allows for some high-speed driving and is wide enough for easy overtaking maneuvers. 

It goes around some of the attractions too, so you even get to have interesting views while driving. There is a single track at the facility that is meant for both kids and adults.

Go-Karts

The park has single and double-seater go-karts available. The karts come with seat belts for safety and are wide enough to easily seat people of various heights. If you have a young child with you who is not tall enough to drive alone, you can use a double-seater kart and take them along on the ride.

They even get their own steering wheel to make them feel like they’re in control rather than just sitting as a passenger.
