Lone Star Kartpark is a dedicated go-kart facility located inside the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. It features a 16-turn track, making it one of the best go-kart tracks in this city! 

The high-speed outdoor track is available for rent, or through several arrive-and-drive packages, which is perfect for karting enthusiasts. You can simply select your go-kart and compete with your friends, family, colleagues, or even strangers.  

They offer special packages for corporate events and you can also participate in Sprint, Grand Prix, and Team Race challenges. The facility also hosts a league racing event using the best CRG Centurion karts.

Race Track

Lone Star Kartpark’s race track is one of the most interesting tracks in Fort Worth. With the Texas Motor Speedway in the background, the 16-turn track is 3,168 feet in length and can make anyone feel like a professional racer! 

That’s also the longest track in the city of Forth Worth and anywhere close by. To participate in a 10-minute race, drivers are recommended to wear a neck brace and a helmet. There is no compromise on the height requirements. 

Adults must be 58” tall, whereas kids must be 48” in height and aged between 8 – 12. After all, it is a family-friendly facility, but the race track is sure to challenge even the most skilled kart racers.

Go-Karts

Racers can use adult go-karts at Lone Star Kartpark, as you’re not able to bring your own. For kids, they have Cadet Karts and can be driven if your child is 7 years old and at least 42” in height.

Adult karts require racers to be at least 58” tall. Rental karts are available for corporate events, but the league racing events utilize the CRG Centurion go-karts, which are some of the best you’ll come across!

Food & Beverage

The facility does not offer food and beverages. However, if you are planning to stay for the entire day, make sure to bring your own food & drinks for the day because you are going to need them! You may also take this chance to explore the city of Forth Worth for various food options.

K1 Speed go-kart facilities are available in various locations throughout the United States and the nearest one to Fort Worth is the Arlington facility, being about 8 miles away. It is an indoor go-kart racing track with an arcade and air hockey for side attractions. 

K1 Speed offers arrive-and-drive packages, group events, junior leagues, and limited-time races. They do not permit mixed adult and kid races so that all drivers get a fair chance at winning.

It also has Pit Cafe, which serves food and beverages with a great view of the race track. There are also 2 meeting rooms with A/V connections that are mainly used for private functions or corporate events.

Race Track

The race track of K1 Speed is called ‘Arlington Track’ in this location. Each K1 Speed track is slightly different, with varying twists and turns. This kart track is approximately a quarter-mile in length, which is a relatively compact, yet challenging race track.

It is an indoor track with safety barriers and a height requirement of 48” for kids. Adults have to be 58” to ride the adult karts. The race tracks are mostly available for people who want to make use of their arrive-and-drive package, but can also be booked for private and corporate events.

Go-Karts

The go-karts here are OTL Storm ETDs and are imported from Italy. They are also electric, offering fast acceleration and an exceptional racing experience for go-kart fans. Kids race with OTL Junior Karts.

Race Track

A single outdoor track with modifications for twists and turns provides a slightly challenging experience for all karting enthusiasts. The family-friendly facility has a hard-working track crew making sure the racers are always following the safety guidelines before racing.

Each race lasts for about 10 to 12 laps or 5 minutes. Adults have to be at least 58” tall to drive a go-kart at Route 377 Go-Karts. The passengers for their two-seater karts can be 36” tall and ride for free. This is great for kids!

Go-Karts

Single and double go-karts are available at the Route 377 Go-Karts facility and anyone can drive single karts by meeting the height requirements. These are Shaller go-karts that have various safety features such as safety belts, roll bars, and bumpers. 

If someone does not meet the height requirements, they can ride as a passenger with a driver of age 18 or above. To race here, simply select a racing package, as there is no need to bring your own go-kart to the facility.

Route 377 Go-Karts does not have a restaurant or a cafe here. However, there is a snack bar with a couple of different beverages to select from. You may also bring your own refreshments along and sit on the picnic benches that overlook the race track!

Rockwood Go-Karts is the oldest facility in Fort Worth. It has been a preferred karting place for the locals since 1962 and proudly presents one of the fastest tracks in Fort Worth!

The facility is not a dedicated go-kart location because of the equally-popular mini-golf attraction. This place is ideal for families with kids, so you can bring them along without having to worry about their safety on the race track. Rockwood Go-Karts is also available for private gatherings and events.

Race Track

The race track at Rockwood Go-Karts in Fort Worth is a somewhat circular track with no complicated twists and turns. It’s a small, yet fast race track, perfect for novices and kids who want to learn about this motorsport and have fun at the same time. 

The outdoor concrete track is lined with a barrier on the outer side to keep karts from veering off. The go-kart track is also fairly wide to facility overtaking, so you’ll definitely get a chance at finishing in first place.

Go-Karts

Rockwood Go-Karts claims to have the fastest go-karts in Fort Worth, and most drivers can vouch for that. The facility offers a 4-min ride in a single or double kart. To drive a single kart, racers have to be at least 10 years old and 4’8” tall.

Passengers for their two-seater go-karts must be at least 5 years or older and be at least 3’4” tall. Rockwood Go-Karts has a total of 16 single-seater go-karts and 6 two-seater go-karts. All karts are well maintained and are equipped with various safety features.

Food & Beverage

Rockwood Go-Karts does not offer food and beverages. However, they provide a shaded picnic area for private events and party reservations. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks along when heading down.
