1. NOLA Motorsports Park

Facility

For fans of motorsports, a visit to the NOLA Motorsports Park is an absolute must. This park not only has excellent karting tracks but a lot more. From high-performance driving programs and driving courses to having the chance to go on a ride with a professional driver, there’s a lot you can do to quench your thirst for adrenaline-pumping activities here. 

You can also book the facility for various events. It even has a Skid Pad for those who want to show off their newest cars or other products in style! But of course, one of their main features is the awesome go-kart racing track.

Race Track

This facility has 30 acres of track space. There are more than 80 different configurations that can be enjoyed on these tracks. Boasting to be the fastest race course in the South, this 0.95-mile track has a 930-feet-long straight that will surely allow you to hit top speed! 

The track also features flagging and scoring facilities, as well as a timing staff. There’s an enclosed karting circuit here too. In short, this facility is perfect for all fans of karting, from amateur ones to those who want to take part in competitive events.

Go-Karts

There are three types of Sodi Karts available at NOLA Motorsports Park. They are all high-quality and provide the best possible experience to all the racers. The Adult Karts can be driven by those who are 58” tall and have a top speed of over 40 mph.

The Junior Karts are for the younger drivers who are at least 48” tall and can reach a maximum speed of about 25 mph in speed. There are also 2-Seater Karts available for kids who want to ride alongside their parents. These karts have a top speed of about 15 mph.

This is designed to be a place for all karting fans, so that’s all that is offered here.

Race Track

The track at Xtreme Motorsports is made of concrete. The facility boasts the track’s extremely high quality and promises to provide racers the experience of competitive kart racing.

The track has plenty of twists and turns to keep you busy, as well as straights to let you go as fast as you can. This outdoor track will give you a more competitive karting vibe than some others and also has a safety barrier system that is made of used tires.

Go-Karts

Xtreme Motorsports has all high-quality Honda 125 & LO206 karts that will make you feel like you are on a professional racetrack. The karts have 125 cc Honda Engines and are gas-powered.

There are several weight classes, 385 lbs and 400 lbs for the Honda 125 spec and 365 lbs and 385 lbs for the LO206 spec. These karts are suitable for adults and kids who are at least 13 years old and 60″ tall.

3. River Road Go-Kart Track

The River Road Go-Kart Track is a family-operated facility that focuses on providing a fun karting experience to the whole family. As far as karting goes, this facility offers high-powered karts so you can experience what fast-paced racing feels like.

River Road also offers party packages, some of which will give your group the track on a private basis. This can be great for people looking to host large events with some karting action thrown in for good measure. 

Race Track

The track at River Road Go-Kart Track is pretty simple, but that is what allows for those high-speeds the owners want you to experience. There are a good number of turns that then lead to a long straight.

The turns challenge your driving and cornering skills while the straight acts as a gift at the end so you can reach the highest speed possible. The track has a concrete surface and is surrounded by greenery, giving you a smooth ride and some good views. Although this may not be the most technically demanding track, it sure provides plenty of fun!

Go-Karts

Being designed to attract people of all ages, the track offers three types of karts. Drivers who are at least 60” high can drive the Adult Karts. These have powerful 9 hp engines. For younger drivers, there are the Junior Karts with 5.5 hp engines.

The Double-Karts are for younger children who are not tall enough to drive the Junior Karts but want to ride along with an adult. The facility also has some mini karts so that little ones can enjoy a racing session on their own!

Unfortunately, there are no food options available on the premises, so be sure to pack your own picnic snacks or head over to a nearby restaurant! 

4. Cajun Fast Track

Facility

Cajun Fast Track is the complete package when it comes to spending a day full of excitement and fun. It offers not only some great karting but also has other attractions like an arcade, an ‘XD Theater’, and Laser Tag, among many others. It’s a great option for families who want to spend some quality time with each other.

The facility can also be used to plan and host parties of any size, rain or shine! You can also host company events or other such events for groups of various sizes, complete with help from specialized event coordinators. 

Race Track

The track at Cajun Fast Track is outdoors but is covered so that it provides the best of both worlds. The track will test your driving skills with its various sharp corners and smooth surface. It can allow for some drifting action too if you’re in the right kind of kart. It is also plenty wide and allows for some easy overtaking opportunities too. 

Go-Karts

There are three different types of go-karts that can be used. The Single Karts are for adults. Drivers need to be at least 54” tall to drive, which is actually a few inches less than some other facilities. The Double Seater Karts can be used by two people so that the fun can be multiplied! 

The facility also offers Slick Track Karts that are designed to allow more experienced drivers to drift at high speeds. If you’re more into the adrenaline-pumping side of karting, opt for the Slick Track Karts and get drifting!

Food & Beverage

From sandwiches to seafood, the restaurant called Filling Station at the premises has everything you could need. Whether you want to fill up after a tiring day or just want a drink or two, you can get it here. There’s even a bar where you can find all sorts of drinks!

5. Kart Ranch

Facility

Kart Ranch is yet another facility that aims to provide something for everyone. They have karting tracks as well as other attractions including laser tag, an arcade, bumper cars, miniature golf, and many others. For the little ones, there’s a soft play area indoors as well.

The karting facilities are great for adults and children alike to ensure that karting fans of all ages can have a good time. You can host birthday parties at Kart Ranch, too. A private room is provided for such an event, complete with suitable decorations!   

Race Track

Kart Ranch has two karting tracks. Both of these are outdoor tracks with concrete surfaces. The concrete allows for a true street-karting experience. One of the tracks is for adults while the other is for younger drivers. The tracks have a good mix of turns and straights to give you a karting experience you will thoroughly enjoy. 

Go-Karts

On the main track, drivers who are at least 54” tall can drive the adult karts. If you have a little one with you who is under 54” tall and is at least 2 years old, you could have them sit next to you in a two-seater kart and take them along for the ride.

Children who are at least 3 years old and under 54” in height can use the special Kiddie Karts on a separate track. All of the karts are fun to drive and come with safety harnesses.

Kart Ranch has a Snack Bar on the premises that offers a lot of fast food items like pizzas, sandwiches, hotdogs, nachos, and more. There are also plenty of beverages to choose from to refresh yourself in between races.
