1. Autobahn Indoor Speedway Jessup

Facility

Autobahn Indoor Speedway Baltimore is one of two locations of Autobahn in Baltimore and this one is located in Jessup, Baltimore. It’s a whopping 60,000 sq ft. facility and features two great race tracks. The entire facility can be rented for corporate or private events, such as birthday parties or team building sessions.

They also host several leagues and competitions at their facility with trophies and prizes to be won. There are also other types of activities that can be undertaken such as axe throwing and field camps.

Race Track

There are two race tracks at this facility, which are both indoors. The Le Mans race track is a rectangular shaped track that features many short straight sections and plenty of corners.

The Monaco race track is longer and slightly more technical with tricky overtaking spots. Both race tracks are equipped with safety barriers and state-of-the-art lap timing systems that are projected on large screens.

Go-Karts

There are two types of go-karts at Autobahn Indoor Speedway Baltimore. Adults get to race OTL Storm EFD electric karts that can reach speeds of up to 50 mph. These karts are imported from Italy and are one of the best rental go-karts available.

Youths can race in OTL Junior Karts that are speed limited and full of safety features. Juniors race at the same location in different races to ensure everyone safety.

Facility

Race Track

The track at Sandy Hook Speedway is made of paved asphalt that offers great grip and challenging turns. This track is deemed to be fairly technical and more suitable for advanced racers who have mastered racing using their own go-karts.

One of the highlights of this track is the 25 degree high-banked turn. The track also features several booths during events, as well as trackside karting supplies with basic parts and methanol. Go-Karts

There are no rental go-karts at Sandy Hook Speedway. You’re required to bring your own go-kart and will not be able to race if you don’t have your own.

This is the second Autobahn Indoor Speedway in Maryland. It’s located in Kelso Drive, Essex, Maryland and is a great place for go-kart racing. The facility has rental karts available and you’ll even be able to host private events such as birthday parties or corporate events.

Occasionally they also have racing leagues and other activities available, such as axe throwing, field trips and summer caps. Overall, it’s a great place for youth and adult go-kart racing.

Race Track

Autobahn Indoor Speedway White Marsh features one go-kart track named SPA Circuit. It has 9 tricky corners and is a great place to learn technical indoor go-kart racing.

SPA Circuit is a wide track that allows for up to 10 go-karts to be racing at the same time. It also features a top notch lap timing system and safety barriers along the track. Youth races and adult races take place at different intervals.

Go-Karts

Autobahn Indoor Speedway White Marsh features two types of go-karts. Youth karts are OTL Junior Karts and are speed limited. These go-karts are great for youths to learn indoor go-kart racing before upgrading to adult go-karts.

Adult go-karts are OTL Storm EFD and are fully-electric. They can reach speeds of up to 50 mph and are imported directly from Italy.

You won’t need to worry about going to different areas in order to try out all the different karting tracks, as they’re all located in the same facility. 

The race tracks are Miami Drift, FUTURE 8, Cyclone Cart Coaster, Formula 1, Kiddie Grand Prix, Slide 4 Five, Super Raceway , Grand Prix, Rookie Track and Lemans. There are tracks for every age group. Kids can race at the Kiddie Track from the ages of just 3 years old, while other tracks are designed for youths and adults.

Go-Karts

There are a total of 140 go-karts in Speedworld Go-Karts. Each race track features a unique type of go-kart that is made to the requirements of the race track and the intended audience.

Moreover, there are also go-karts for kids, youths and adults in single and double-seater configuration. All go-karts contain safety features such as bumpers and safety belts.

5. Crofton Go-Kart Raceway

Facility

Crofton Go-Kart Raceway is a fun go-kart racing location in Gambrills, Maryland. It’s great for the entire family and you’ll also be able to ride next to your child in the two-seater go-karts.

The facility can also be booked for parties, corporate outings or other private events. You can even book the entire track, if you’re hosting a large event. Due to the great weather in Maryland, Crofton Go-Kart Raceway is open most of the time during the year.

Race Track

Crofton Go-Kart Raceway features the longest go-kart racing track in the state of Maryland. The outdoor track is an impressive 1/2 mile in length and is made from asphalt. There are many twists and turns, as well as some great spots for overtaking. In total, this race track has more than 20 turns where you’ll be able to race against your friends and family members.

Go-Karts

There are two types of go-karts at Crofton Go-Kart Raceway. The single seater go-karts allow for a single rider. In order to race the single-seater go-karts, drivers must be at least 8 years old and 54 inches tall.

Two-seater go-karts are also available at this race track. The driver of the two-seater go-karts must be at least 16 years of age, whereas the accompanying passenger must be at least 2 years old. Both go-karts have a Formula 1 inspired design and are powered by 6.5hp Honda engines with 200cc.

There isn’t any cafe or restaurant available on site. However, there are a couple of vending machines available for light refreshments. If you’re planning on enjoying a meal, you can simply dine in at one of the nearby restaurants in the area.
