Motorsport Park Hastings, or MPH in short, is a facility that all motorsport fans will fall in love with. This is a one-stop shop for all kinds of racing fans who want to bring their own vehicles and take part in more than 50 events held annually here. Other than karting, MPH is also home to car racing, bike racing, drag racing, and more. 

It is also possible to rent not only the clubhouse for private parties and events but also the entire race track! So, you can always put your go-kart and other vehicles to the test and race against friends, or just hang out and enjoy the pool.

Race Track

The track at MPH is an outdoor one. It provides a true racing experience, as it’s filled with a wide variety of challenging corners and straight sections. Kart racers will love this 2.15-mile track, as it provides plenty of actions and places to overtake your competitors. 

The track has been designed by Alan Wilson and reviewed by Martyn Thake who is a racetrack consultant for the SCAA. It’s the best race track for go-kart racing in Nebraska, as it’s not only long, but also challenging and fun!

Go-Karts

If you wish to race at Motorsport Park Hastings, you’ll need to bring your own go-kart kind. This allows true karting fans to practice or race in their own karts and compete in leagues and events. 

All you need to do is read through the regulations and requirements of each class and make sure that your kart follows all those guidelines. Then, you can simply bring it to the track and start racing.

Food & Beverage

Catering options and drinks are provided by the Wandering Well for those interested in renting the clubhouse space. There seem to be no food options available, so it’s best to bring your own snacks and refreshments.

The family theme park opened in 1981 with its figure-8 track, bumper boats, and a game room. Today, it offers many more attractions like adventure golf, a train for kids, and multiple water slides.

Race Track

This facility has two outdoor tracks. The main track is called the Speedway, which is a figure-8 track that is signal-controlled. It’s perfect for adults who wish to race at relatively high speeds, and it even features an over and underpass! 

For fans of drifting, there is a Slick Track as well that will really challenge all kinds of racers. All tracks are family-friendly and have a lap timing system, as well as a large monitor to check your racing performance.

Go-Karts

Cody Go Karts provides go-kart for all, whether you’re an adult or a kid. For very young children who are not quite old enough to race on their own, there are double-seater karts, so they can enjoy racing alongside their parents. 

Single-seater go-karts are available for racers who are at least 52” tall. All the karts are fast, safe and are regularly maintained by the staff to provide the best possible racing experience.

Eagle Raceway was created all the way back in 1963 by Dale Halvorsen and Harvey Kropp. This is a facility designed for hosting kart racing events throughout the year. This has become a go-to place for many families who love to race in their own karts and take part in competitions and leagues. 

Other than a karting track, the Eagle Raceway is also home to a kids area as well as a pavilion for different events and gatherings. Around the track are bleachers which can seat some 8,500 people for events.

Race Track

The main track at the facility is a one-third-mile outdoor dirt track. This is a banked oval with long straights. It is often called the world’s fastest third mile because of how fast drivers can go. 

In the middle of this main track is the Mini E Raceway Go-Kart Track designed particularly for kart races. Both tracks offer a very exhilarating racing experience if you’re a fan of speed – and who isn’t?!

Go-Karts

This is a facility where you have to bring your own karts. The two main categories of karts that can be used are FLAT karts and CAGE karts. Within these categories of karts, there are plenty of classes so that racers of different age groups and experience levels can race against others who are at the same technical level.

As the name suggests, Papio Fun Park is a place for all to have fun. It offers plenty of activities other than good old outdoor karting. Other attractions at the facility include miniature golf, laser tag, glow tag, an arcade, batting cages, and games like Jumpshot and Spaceball.

Other than these activities, you may also want to check out the park’s special Pavilion where you can host up to 200 people! This outdoor covered area features a fire pit as well. Whether it’s a birthday or an office event you’re planning, Papio Fun Park can accommodate you.

Race Track

Go-karting at this park takes place on an outdoor circuit. With a concrete surface, it evokes the feeling of racing out in the streets. The track has a length of 1/4 miles and features many twists and turns to challenge you. 

It’s also decently wide so you can overtake your opponents. It also features plenty of banked turns and speeding straight sections where you can overtake others. The track also has a safety barrier system on each side.   

Go-Karts

To drive the single-seater go-karts at Papio Fun Park, you have to be at least 50” tall and 8 years of age. Younger karting fans can sit alongside an adult in the two-seater karts to enjoy the ride. 

All go-karts are well-maintained and offer a good balance between excitement and safety for families. They’re family-friendly and are also speed regularly for added safety.

Apart from offering some really exciting go-karting, this place also has a game room, a bowling alley, laser tag, mini-golf, sand volleyball, and the Ballocity. Kids simply love this place!

Hosting parties here isn’t a problem either. You can arrange all kinds of events here, from corporate meetups to school outings. On top of all that, Big Apple Fun Center also has a Pro Shop where you can buy equipment for yourself!

Race Track

The go-kart tracks at this facility offer a fun and exciting racing experience. While one is an outdoor track, much like the ones you might have already gone to, the other is an indoor track unlike any other in place. 

This is a track that is decorated in neon lights and has a highly futuristic, almost Tron-like look. It features safety barriers, sharp corners and straight sections where you’ll be able to practice your overtaking skills! 

Go-Karts

The karts available here are equally futuristic. These are fast racing karts that are also designed with safety in mind. They look very sleek and have thin headlights to add even more to the overall aesthetic of the space. 

Children who are shorter than 58” can ride alongside an adult in a two-seater kart, whereas adults who and youths who are taller 58″ are able to ride in the faster single-seater go-karts.
