1. NHKA Racing Series

Facility

The NHKA, or the New Hampshire Karting Association, is the place to be if you want to engage in some high-speed, competitive karting. This facility allows people of all ages, even those as young as 5, to come and take part in the various karting races that are organized. The track allows people to experience what real competitive karting is like.

A very big part of NHKA is to train young children in karting so that they may grow up to be karting legends on professional race tracks. So, if you have your own karts and want to compete against others who are as competitive as you, the NHKA membership is something you may want to consider. 

Race Track

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is home to the Hill Course. This track is an outdoor one, with a high-grip asphalt surface. The track is designed to give racers every karting challenge they could want.

From elevation changes and long straights to a hairpin and double-apex turns, this track is bound to meet all your karting needs, no matter how competitive you are. If you want to race as real kart racers do and are looking for technically demanding tracks, this is the one to give you that experience. 

Go-Karts

This is a bring-your-own-kart facility so you must have a vehicle to take part in the races. Unlike many other similar facilities, NHKA supports various classes because it wants to let people of various age groups and skill levels race.

All of the karts are checked by professionals at the facility before each race to ensure safety, so you won’t have to worry about any unpleasant issues on the track or if you’re unsure on meeting the race requirements.

Unfortunately, there are no food options available at the facility. The best thing is to either bring your own food and drinks or to explore any of the surrounding areas for food options before or after your race.

2. Weirs Beach Go Kart Track

Facility

If you’re not into competitive karting but rather want to have some family fun, then Weirs Beach Go-Kart Track is a great facility to visit. They offer a fun and safe environment for the whole family to drive around on a karting track. Since this is a family-oriented facility, there are karts not only for adults but also for children. 

While there may not be additional activities that are usually found in facilities like this, you won’t be disappointed if you just want to do some karting with your loved ones. 

Race Track

Weirs Beach Go-Kart Track is an open-air facility. The track here is outdoors and has a nice asphalt surface that provides racers with a great balance of grip and speed. It is a 1/4 mile-long track that has plenty of twists and turns to challenge you during races.

The track is also quite wide so you can rest easily and there will be a good number of overtaking opportunities for you to avail of. Each race on this track will give you 4 to 5 laps, depending on how fast you like to drive. There is also a separate Junior Track for the children. 

Go-Karts

The karts provided to the racers are high-quality and very safe. They come with metal guard rails at the bottom to prevent serious collisions and also have safety harnesses to keep you and your children secure. You can drive the karts alone or have your young child sit next to you if they are too young to drive their own junior karts.

Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be any food and beverage options available at the facility. Explore the surrounding areas for meals.

3. White Lake Speedway

Facility

White Lake Speedway is more than just a karting track. This facility is designed to provide fun activities for the whole family. It has everything you would need to spend a day filled with activities. Whether you like video games, laser tag, or mini-golf, you will find it at White Lake Speedway. And, of course, there’s some high-speed karting action to be experienced as well!

You can also plan events and bring large groups to the facility. It offers a great respite from day-to-day business and provides something for everyone in one place. 

Race Track

The karting track at this facility is 730 feet long and full of turns and corners that will keep you glued to your steering wheel. This is an outdoor track with a concrete surface. With its smooth surface, it offers a professional karting experience – just not as competitive. It welcomes new drivers as well as seasoned ones, so the facility takes care of safety precautions wherever possible. 

One cool thing about the facility is that they reverse the track every day in the afternoon during the summer. This gives the track a completely different feeling for regular drivers. 

Go-Karts

The two-seater karts are perfect for an adult and a child to race around the track together. Drivers need to be at least 10 years old and 56” or taller to drive the karts. However, passengers only need to be 40″ tall. The karts come with seatbelts and safety rails to provide a safe and fun experience to young and old alike.

The facility offers snacks like subs and nachos as well as drinks as part of the SPECIAL-OPS Trivia. 

4. Mel’s Funway Park

Facility

Mel’s Funway Park is yet another family entertainment facility that offers a lot of attractions for all ages. This place also has bumper boats, miniature golf, batting cages, an arcade, and laser tag. There’s even a Kiddie Land for the youngest visitors between the ages of 2 and 9 with special attractions like bumper boats and toddler go-karts. 

The Park also allows you to celebrate birthday parties, or plan corporate and other private events. It offers various packages to help you plan the perfect party. 

Race Track

The track at the facility is voted #1 for families in New Hampshire, so it must be visited if you’re in the area. This is an outdoor track that is 1/5th of a mile in length. It’s not your everyday karting track though. Designed for pro-level karting, this track has everything from straights to hairpin turns that will challenge even experienced drivers. There’s even an overpass!

With a width allowing for easy overtaking chances and a grippy concrete texture, this track will let you race against your competitive friends like you’re at a professional event.

Go-Karts

The karts are high-quality and safe. These are two-seater karts that can be driven by anyone who is at least 58 inches in height. If you have a child with you who is shorter than 58 inches, they can ride along with you if you’re at least 18 years of age.

Or they can just drive some kiddie karts over at their own little Kiddie Land. The karts have a safety rail at the bottom as well as a safety harness for some added security.

After a day of karting in the heat, you can enjoy some amazing ice cream at their stand.

5. Daytona Fun Park

Facility

As the name suggests, Daytona Fun Park is designed to provide the ultimate fun experience for you and your family. The park has a ton of activities including go-karts, bumper boats, mini-golf, batting cages, and more. There’s a very cool Outdoor High Ropes Adventure Course here too for those who love athletic activities. 

If you have a party coming up and you want to plan a day of fun activities, this is the place to be. You can celebrate with your close ones by taking part in all of the available activities to make your event the most memorable one yet. 

Race Track

If speed is what you’re looking for, you should head on over to Daytona Fun Park’s karting track. This outdoor track has a concrete surface that offers the perfect amount of grip to provide a safe and fast driving experience.

It has various twists and turns that will need to be navigated expertly. It’s also wide enough for some high-speed overtaking action. The track is lined with rubber tires to give it a real ‘street’ vibe and also protect racers in case they veer off the track.

Go-Karts

Since this is a family-focused facility, it offers karts for everyone. There are new Viper-style karts that are meant to be driven by those who are at least 54” tall. These fast karts offer a pro-karting experience.

The younger visitors can ride along with their parents or siblings in the two-seater karts. It’s a shame that there are no dedicated karts for the younger ones. But still, the presence of two-seater karts gives them a way to enjoy the track anyway.

It seems like there are no food options available at the facility. However, there are plenty of dining places nearby and you’re bound to find something tasty within a few minutes drive.
