Best Go-Kart Tracks in Niagara Falls

Go-karting in the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario is an awesome activity that people of all ages and group sizes can enjoy. There are two go-kart racing tracks that both offer a different and unique type of racing experience.

Niagara Speedway has one of the largest elevated tracks in North America and is located in the middle of a fun-filled theme part. On the other hand Niagara Falls Go-Kart primarily offers go-karting but also has an adjacent mini-golf course. Both of these go-kart locations are family-oriented where you’ll be able to spend an awesome day out!

Niagara Speedway is not just a small karting facility, it’s part of a whole entertainment arena called Clifton Hill. As the name suggests, it’s located in Clifton Hill and it offers a fun-filled theme park experience that is filled with awesome activities such as go-kart racing.

The facility boasts a huge multi-level go-kart track, roller coaster rides, a skywheel, mini-golf courses, adventure golf, zombie attack, ghost rides and even a wax museum. All in all, it is a whole world of fun and adventure for the entire family. They even have family and budle passes if you’re keen on trying multiple attractions!

Race Track

Niagara Speedway has a karting track like no other. This truly entertaining race track runs through helical spirals towering four storeys with more than 2000 linear feet of racing surface. It’s highest point is 40 feet tall and up to 36 go-karts can race at any given time. That just shows you how large this race track actually is!

It also features plenty of challenging corners and changes of elevation to give you an overall thrilling racing experience, even at night. The layout of the track is designed to give racers of all experience levels a fun time! The Niagara Speedway track is even touted to be the largest elevated track in North America. 

Go-Karts

The facility features go-karts that are equipped with 9 hp Honda engines. These go-karts have a strong and sturdy body which is also light in weight making them easy to control and race with. As long as racers meet the height requirement of 58″, they’re able to experience Niagara Speedway’s awesome karting track.

The karts are capable of reaching a speed of 32 km/h. Now, that’s fast! This allows them to easily climb up the elevations and even overtake other go-karts. The colorful bodies of the karts are very striking and the overall racing experience is simply fun.

Food & Beverage

Clifton Hill has a total of 3 different restaurants that are located inside the theme park. Here, you can enjoy plenty of meals, snacks and beverages with your friends and family. The restaurants features in this location are Boston’s Pizza, Kelsey’s Niagara and Tim Hortons. There are plenty of food and beverage options at Clifton Hill.

2. Niagara Go-Karts

Niagara Go-karts is an outdoor facility that features a go-kart track and a small mini-golf course. This outdoor racing track has Formula 1 style go-karts that are bound to deliver an adrenaline rush. The facility is open up to 7 days a week, depending on the time of year. This means that you can go and have fun with your friends and family whenever you have the time.

They offer arrive and drive packages for 3 and 6 laps, smaller racing leagues and karting series. You can even rent the facility for group and corporate events, parties and even team-building activities. Apart from go-karting, you’re also able to enjoy a few rounds of mini-golf at this facility. 

Race Track

The facility has a long outdoor track with a professional design that makes it attractive and fun to race on. While this race track features plenty of chicanes and straight sections, certain areas of the track are relatively narrow. This means that you’ll have to time your overtaking maneuvers accurately. 

The race track at Niagara Falls is also regularly maintained and features a safety barrier that is made of used car tires. This added safety feature ensures that racers are safe at all times. While this outdoor track is relatively large, it does feel slightly aged. Nonetheless, it offers a great racing experience for individuals and groups alike. 

Go-Karts

The facility has two different types of go-karts for public racing. The karts are the 15 hp formula 1 style go-karts that deliver a fun and unique racing experience. These race karts accelerate extremely fast and also have a great top speed. These 15 hp engines are definitely a step up from what you would normally be used to. These 1-seater karts are designed for racers that are at least 14 years old and 5 feet tall.

The 2-seater karts on the other hand are more family-oriented and are designed for racing with passengers. Parents can drive them and have a kid ride along as a passenger to enjoy some family fun moments. The driver of the 2-seater karts must be at least 54″ tall and 10 years old, while the passenger must be at least 3 feet tall to ride on these karts

The facility has a small snacking area where you can have some small snacks and beverages while having an exciting and thrilling day at Niagara Go-Karts. If you’re looking for more food options, you can simply explore some restaurants that are all nearby.
