Race Track

Go-Karts

Race Track

There are two go-kart tracks that you can choose from, the Formula Track and the Vortex Track. The Formula Track is built for speed and features many tricky twists and turns. It features a concrete surface and you’ll be able to race on bridges and overpasses.

The Vortex Track is a multi-level wooden go-kart track that features two large spirals on each end. The middle section of the track is an overpass that bridges the two spirals. The minimum height requirement for drivers is 56” and 54” for passengers.

Go-Karts

There are two types of go-karts that you’ll be able to race. The go-karts for the Formula track are geared towards speed and handling, as you’ll have to navigate around challenging twists and turns.

It’s also a great place for thrill-seekers as it’s home to the famous slingshot ride that launches you up to 300 feet into the air.

Race Track

The go-kart racing track at Indy Speedway is bean-shaped and features an asphalt surface. It has a similar shape to an actual speedway and racers complete 20 or 30 laps per race.

The track itself loops around the slingshot ride and is 480 feet long. While the track isn’t the longest, it’s still fun especially if you race with your family and friends. The safety barriers are relatively low, however there is always a race marshal around during a race.

Go-Karts

The go-karts are fast and equipped with various safety features. There are single-seat and double-seat go-karts. While the minimum driver requirements are 58” in height, and 16 years of age, passengers only need to be 3 years or older.
