The great thing about Pigeon Forge is that it has great weather throughout the year, which is ideal for go-kart racing. Most of the go-kart tracks in Pigeon Forge are located in a 2 mile stretch along Parkway and are easily accessible.

1. The Track

Facility

The Track is located in the northern area of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It’s easily accessible through Parkway Highway and is right next to West Prong Little Pigeon River. Besides the famous go-kart track, it also features bumper cars, an arcade for kids, mini golf, boats and various other family friendly attractions.

Race Track

The Track at Pigeon Forge is more fun and family-oriented, than race tracks that you see at dedicated go-karting facilities. It features two types of thrilling go-kart tracks. The first one is the Family Track, which has a figure-eight design with an overpass and is designed for fun and light go-kart racing.

The Wild Woody track on the other hand is geared towards racers who seek a more thrilling experience. It features a 3-level track design with spirals, overpasses, chicanes and a wooden surface.

Go-Karts

As The Track is known for its family-styled attractions, it features two types of go-karts. The single seater kart is for individual racers who want to ride on their own, while their two-seater karts are for friends or parents and kids who wish to ride together.

The minimum riding height is 4’6”, in order to drive the single seater and two-seater karts. Passengers in two-seater karts only need to be 3’ tall, which is ideal for kids riding with their parents.

2. SpeedZone Fun Park

Facility

SpeedZone Fun Park is located right in the center of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It’s accessible through Parkway Highway and is located near Patriot Park. 

The entire facility is dedicated to go-kart racing and they feature a total of 4 different tracks. SpeedZone Fun Park is known for its family theme and it’s a great place to spend time with your family.

Race Track

There are a total of four go-kart racing tracks that SpeedZone Fun Park offers. The Slick Track is also known as the drifting track and is a great place to slide through chicanes.

The Coaster Track is great for families, as they feature many uphill and downhill slopes for single and double-seater karts. The Tennessee Twister is an exciting multi-level track that is fun to race at. It’s filled with many spirals, twists and turns.

There is also a Kids Track where children can learn how to race go-karts on their own. Kids need to be at least 36” tall and 4 years old to drive.

Go-Karts

There are single seater and double seater go-karts available at SpeedZone Fun Park. This is ideal, as you’re able to ride with your kids on more challenging tracks. All go-karts feature safety harnesses and are sized according to each track type.

SpeedZone Fun Park offers an arcade for kids that also has some snacks and light food available for you and your family. While it isn’t a fully-fledged restaurant the food is family-friendly and tasty.

3. Xtreme Racing Center

Facility

The Xtreme Racing Center of Pigeon Forge brings fun and excitement to visitors by having the fastest go-karts in Pigeon Forge. The facility features several go-kart tracks and an arcade for kids, where you’re also able to get some light meals. It’s an ideal location for those who are looking for a thrilling go-kart racing experience.

Race Track

This facility has 3 different race tracks that are each geared towards a different experience. The first track is called the Xtreme Track, which is a whopping 3,500 feet in length and features many thrilling chicanes and corners. It’s a track that is more suitable for experienced drivers.

The Reverse Track is the same track as before but raced in reverse. It feels completely different, as you approach each corner from the opposite direction using another type of go-kart. The last track is the Elevated Track, which is 1,500 in length. It features fun twists and turns, as well as an elevated straight section.

Go-Karts

The Xtreme Racing Center features high-speed Sodi GT-5 and RT-8 karts, which are the fastest go-karts in Pigeon Forge. Both go-karts are powered by Honda GX270 gas engines.

The Elevated track also features two-seater Sodi karts, which enable you to race with your friends or kids right next to you. Go-Kart drivers at the Xtreme Racing Center are required to be at least 11 years old and 52” tall.

4. Blake Jones Racing Center

Facility

Blake Jones Racing Center is a small, yet exciting racing park located in the heart of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. There are three attractions on-site, which are the bumper cars and the two go-kart tracks.

This location is great for families and friends who wish to spend a day out at the karting track.

Race Track

There are two go-kart racing tracks at the Blake Jones Racing Center. The Figure 8 Slick Track is an oval indoor race track that is open to drivers 10 years and above with a minimum height of 56”. This track can also be rented for events such as birthday parties and family gatherings.

There’s also an indoor race track with electric go-karts, which is great for any weather conditions. The track features thrilling twists and turns and drivers must be a minimum of 10 years old and 54” tall.

Go-Karts

All go-karts at the Blake Jones Racing Center are green and environmentally friendly. They emit no fumes, odors and low noise, which is favorable for an indoor karting track.

Facility

Adventure Track is another great go-kart racing track in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and is located near the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This karting track has been in business since 1985 and features an exciting go-kart track, as well as bumper boats.

Both attractions are accessible in the same facility and can be used by purchasing the same type of ticket.

Race Track

There is one go-kart track available on site that is available to adults and children. It’s a multi-story race track that’s three stories high and features two large spiral sections on each end.

The middle straight section is called “The Hump” and gives you a nice speed boost while you come down the other side. One ticket will give you admittance to one ride, which will last about 5 minutes.
