  2. Air Filter
  3. Engine
  4. Suspension
  5. Carburetor

Engine

With a four-stroke engine that is air-cooled, the GK110 allows drivers to reach high speeds quickly. More specifically, this engine has an output of 6.5 hp with a displacement of 110cc, which delivers 6.5 Nm of torque at about 5,000 rpm.

What all of this translates into is a powerful off-road kart that can reach speeds of up to 30 mph with great handling abilities. The engine is located at the back of the kart inside a sturdy frame that keeps it safe from getting damaged.

Fuel Tank

The GK110 go-kart comes with an external fuel tank, which is located at the rear of the go-kart and has a capacity of 1 gallon. This is enough to allow for several off-road racing sessions, before having to refuel again.

Transmission

The vehicle comes with an automatic CVT (continuously variable transmission), which is also known as a torque converter. The automatic transmission allows the young drivers to focus on the driving pleasure, instead of having to worry about accidentally smoking the clutch or shifting into higher gears.

Another great feature is that the GK110 also comes with a reverse and neutral gear. This means that there is no pushback required for reversing and drivers don’t have to constantly keep the brakes engaged when the go-kart is idling.

Gears are changed using a simple-to-use hand shifter that allows the driver to shift the kart into either drive, neutral and reverse modes. This shifter allows for easy control of the vehicles and also makes it feel more like a real off-road racing vehicle.

Build Quality

The frame of the kart is made out of rugged tubular steel that is water resistant and features a powder-coated paint. Its good build quality gives it a steady ride and also makes it safe to drive.

Frame

This ensures that the go-kart is both lightweight and durable at the same time. The frame of the GK110 is also supported with a steel roll cage that adds another layer of protection.

With a generous ground clearance of 3.5 inches, the GK110 hits a sweet spot when it comes to a low center of gravity and off-road terrain maneuverability. It’s also a fairly compact vehicle with a length, width, and height of 65 inches, 43 inches, and 44 inches respectively. The long 54-inch wheelbase supports two passengers and also adjustable seats.

Tires

All four tires of the GK110 go-kart are made out of durable rubber and have a good profile on them. In combination with its suspension system, this go-kart really excels in off-road racing. They are also fairly large for the compact frame size, at 16 inches.

To be more specific, the GK110 has four 16 x 8.00 – 7 tires. These tires can also be swapped out for smaller or larger ones at any time. Check out the go-kart tire size guide, if you want to know more about it.

Steering & Controls

Apart from a sturdy build quality, this go-kart is also easy and intuitive to control. The steering wheel, gear controls and pedals are all well positioned and the easy seat adjustment feature makes driving the GK110 simple and fun!

Steering

The kart has a round steering wheel that allows for easy control of the vehicle. This makes the overall driving experience a little more intuitive as a circular steering wheel is easier to hold on to and turn, especially for younger kids. The kart is designed as a left-hand-drive vehicle and the controls are positioned towards the driver seat.

There is also a dashboard behind the steering wheel that displays various controls of the kart. Additionally, you’ll find a switch to shut off the engine, a headlight switch, and another control for the turn signals. All of this makes the kart more intuitive to use and kid-friendly.

Accelerating & Braking

Both acceleration and brake pedals are located on the left side as this is a left-hand-drive go-kart. To make the pedals easier to recognize, there are large labels on them stating the words ‘GO’ and ‘STOP’, making this easy to use for kids.

Stopping the go-kart is also straightforward, thanks to the hydraulic disc brakes on both front and rear wheels. This is quite unique to the GK110, as most go-karts only have rear hydraulic brakes. This allows for effective braking in even the most rugged terrains. There’s even an emergency parking brake that can be engaged at any time.

Comfort

One of the first things you’ll appreciate about this go-kart is that this is a two-seater model that is not only easy to handle but extremely comfortable to sit in.

Seats

The GK110 features bench-style bucket seats that are well-padded for an extra comfortable ride. The sides of the seat wrap around the driver and passenger, to ensure that they are always kept inside the vehicle, even during sharp turns.

To make it even more convenient, the entire seat is adjustable and can slide to accommodate kids of different heights. To be more specific, the pedal to seat distance can be adjusted between 27.5 to 31 inches.

Suspensions

The ride quality is further enhanced by the independent suspension system. The front suspension is set at  9.4 inches while the rear suspension is set at 11 inches.

Together with the large rubber tires, your kids will get to enjoy a smooth and stable ride. This is true whether they are tearing across smooth pavements, racing across a dirt track or even driving through off-road terrain.

Safety

Safety is another important aspect that any parent should consider, especially when the go-kart is designed for kids and youths. Other than the steel tube frame and the roll cage, the GK110 comes with various other safety features. The list of safety features starts with a pair of seat belts for the driver and the passenger.

The hydraulic disc brakes also add a layer of safety bringing the go-kart to an almost immediate stop when engaged. Moreover, rear brake lights make the kart visible to other vehicles at night.

And don’t forget about the turn signals, which are very important for a safe driving experience, especially with other go-karts and vehicles around!

On top of all that, parents can make the kart even safer for their children. The speed can be limited, which is a great feature if younger kids are driving it. This will allow you to set the maximum speed through a built-in speed governor.

Parents also have access to a remote shut-off switch that they can use to turn the GK110 off from a distance if their child is heading out of bounds or if a collision is about to happen.

Additional Features

Additional good-to-have features include an electric start button, a rear storage tray, and extra padding on the seats and the roll cage for additional comfort.

The controls on the dashboard are also a very convenient option to have with digital gear indicators that ensures that the driver is aware of which gear the kart is in at all times. A larger roof canvas would have completed the look, but the smaller one that comes with the GK110 still gets the job done.

Here is a list of additional features:

  • Rear storage tray
  • Large headlights
  • Padded roll cage
  • Large tires
  • Dashboard
  • Independent Suspensions
  • Seat Belts
  • Large Gear Lever

Fun

If you’re wondering whether this is a fun kart to have for your child – well, it really is! It offers a great driving experience on the flat surfaces or off-road terrains, for a very reasonable price.

Its large tires, wide wheelbase, and 3.5-inch ground clearance all work together to make it an affordable and reliable off-road go-kart that allows for countless hours of fun.

Assembly

There may be a little work required when it comes to assembling the GK110. It arrives in a crate and requires some assembly on your part. The good news is that it comes with detailed and easy-to-follow instructions that will have it ready for use in no time.

Design

As far as the design goes, this is a very cool-looking off-road go-kart, and has a dune buggy design. The tubular frame, large tires and bulky build makes it look really sturdy and durable – almost industrial-like.

The kart comes in various colors such as blue, green, red, yellow, pink, and black. Make sure to check out the color options that are available, as there are also some unique designs that feature different accent colors.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the GK110 off-road go-kart is an excellent choice for parents who want their kids to have a powerful and safe kart that they can take off-road. It comes with some really cool features and also offers parents a piece of mind with a remote control stop function.

With its hydraulic braking system, excellent suspension, and comfortable seats, this kart offers the right combination of safety and comfort, while not compromising on speed. All in all, the GK110 is an affordable off-road go-kart that your kids are bound to fall in love with.
